1995 - Stampede Meat's inaugural year – Joseph B. Ligas (CEO) saw an opportunity within the marketplace for value-added, portioned, and cooked “Center of the Plate” foods.
Stampede Meat, Inc. specializes in custom-made
center-of-the-plate beef and pork entrees for the needs
of the restaurant and hospitality industry. We create
seasoned and prepared value-added meats, portioned
cuts and fully cooked beef and pork products.
Stampede has created a niche in the market by serving customers with innovative meat products that are tailored to their unique needs.
Our new 140,000 square foot plant in Bridgeview, IL has the very latest in technology, using stainless steel throughout the production
process and state-of-the-art computers to regulate airflow, humidity and temperature.
The facility has also been designed with
excellent production flow lines to keep
production efficient, cost effective and flexible.
The addition of this new plant is just one of the many ways that Stampede
is setting the pace for quality and service in the meat industry.
